Trashi Gomang is a Buddhist Centre in the Tibetan tradition aimed at helping people realise their greatest potential
The Centre motto is Dedicated to Good Heart which points to nurturing in ourselves the union of compassion, loving kindness and wisdom. We welcome everyone – from those with some experience of the Buddha's teachings to others who are curious – and provide teachings, meditations, advice and practices suited to whatever level or capability you may be.

Open since 1996, Trashi Gomang was founded and developed by Khensur Thabkhey Rinpoche, ex-abbot of Drepung Gomang Monastery in South India, and consecrated by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama.

Khensur Thabkey Rinpoche passed away in 1999 and Geshe Dhonam, who holds the qualification of Lharampa Geshe, the highest in the Tibetan Gelukpa monastic tradition, took over as teacher in 2002. He has become a much respected and loved mentor for the Centre.
He is assisted by Celia Smith.
You are welcome to visit the centre and attend the weekly teachings and meditation sessions; if you have any questions please email us.
